Wow! My first blog post AND a refreshed site, with a new logo, and new offerings.
When I first started this business in 2021, I didn't know how much this business would evolve and grow.
What grew from me delivering directly to customers across the front range 4 nights a week, to then getting into a food truck that ended up breaking down more often than not, to getting into a ghost kitchen and doing the delivery apps and nearly losing the business, to now shipping pretzels nationwide.
(Truck, circa 2022)
Before getting into future plans, let's recap how 2025 has gone, by the numbers!
- Orders placed: 3,038
- Packs Sold: 7,550
- Pretzels Twisted: 37,750
- Mustards Sold: 1,487
Pretty wild to see these numbers, and these don't include wholesale orders OR catering!
Now that we got these numbers out of the way, it's time to discuss the future and how I plan to evolve the business.
Ever since starting this little business, my favorite aspect about it is the customer connection, plain and simple. I absolutely love talking to my customers, and I feel like that is difficult to do online. I've always envisioned a store front for the business. A space that my customers can reliably get pretzels, 7-days a week.
So without further adieu...I'm excited to announce that I am starting to shift focus to a store front, the build out, and the growth of the community here in Denver. Obviously, I have long term visions of expansion, but let's just take it one (not so small) step at a time.
I've found the perfect location, with the perfect layout, and the coolest features. Still in the early stages of lease negotiation and build out plans, but it's looking highly promising, and I am really excited about this!
(Here's a little AI Mockup of the space!)
With the potential of a store front, also comes a newly refreshed logo. Check out a little bit of the thought process for the new logo:
Ultimately, this logo can be turned into a really incredible sign that can be seen from afar, and instantly recognizable.
I still have A LOT of the old packaging, so orders will still come in the old branding, so don't get startled when you see something different!
If you've gotten this far, thank you for reading, and thank you for the continued support. As a one-man-show, it truly means the world!
Signing off for now,
David (Pretzel Guy)
